The American Society for Men’s Health (ASMH) was founded in 2012 and is dedicated to the rapidly growing field of men’s health. The ASMH comprehensively brings together multiple disciplines such as urology, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, gerontology, psychiatry, psychology, sexual and reproductive medicine, public health and others.
The ASMH seeks to:
promote, encourage and support the highest standards of practice, research, education and ethics in the study of the basic sciences, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of men’s health issues.
advocate the advancement of men’s health
become a resource for all those interested in men’s health
provide a scientific and public forum for exchange and discussion of science, experiences, ideas and opinions in men’s health
provide a networking platform for all professionals interested in men’s health, and
lead efforts to improve public health policies and societal conditions related to men’s health
