The Brigham Renal Board Review Course – Harvard Medical School

August 8, 2016 - August 12, 2016

The Brigham Renal Board Review Course is designed to enhance renal medicine knowledge by offering a comprehensive update; a case-based review of challenging clinical problems; and a review of the literature to guide evidence-based practice. This course can also serve to prepare attendees for the ABIM Board Examinations (Certification/Recertification), and offers daily board review question & answer practice sessions in each specialty area of nephrology. The program will also consist of daily case-based lectures & meet the faculty luncheons covering the most important topics in renal medicine. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on the practical application of physiological principles to the understanding and management of clinical problems, particularly for board exam preparation. A special session on “How to Pass the Boards” will be offered.

In addition, a self-study enduring material component, available online (or on DVD, CD, MP3 and MP4), containing all general session lectures recorded from this live activity (with the exception of lunch sessions) will be offered separately for purchase as an additional ‘desktop’ teaching tool to help prepare for the nephrology board exams. This enduring material will be offered to onsite attendees at a special discounted rate. Non-attendees who wish to view or listen to the enduring course, take the post-test, and receive credit, may purchase separately. For onsite attendees, it is an excellent additional teaching tool to reinforce the education at home.
