Intravascular Coronary Imaging and Physiology – Cardiovascular Research Foundation (VRF)
March 11, 2016 - March 12, 2016$400
Intravascular Coronary Imaging & Physiology is a one-and-one-half-day program providing both detailed and broad examinations of basic and advanced clinical techniques, a review of relevant trial data, and discussion on the advancement of device concepts. Multiple didactic sessions with Q&A opportunities will be intertwined with several live cases from St. Francis Hospital. Having experienced the most comprehensive review of existing intravascular imaging and a hands-on review of several devices, attendees will leave the course with the tools necessary to integrate intravascular coronary imaging into their practice.
At the end of this program, attendees will be able to:
- Describe proper technique and image interpretation for various intravascular imaging modalities
- Select the appropriate imaging modality to be used based on the interventional procedure or scenario
- Identify the implications of recent clinical trial data on the use of particular imaging modalities
- Define a clinical practice algorithm that includes all intravascular modalities to comply with appropriate use criteria
This program is designed for interventional cardiologists, clinical cardiologists, cardiology fellows, catheterization laboratory nurses and technologists, and other healthcare professionals with a special interest in intravascular imaging.
